Position Summary 

Human Resource (HR) will be responsible for developing and implementing the organization’s HR strategy, policies, systems, and processes to support business growth and employee engagement across India. The role will oversee talent acquisition, organizational design, performance management, employee welfare, manpower planning, employer branding, and institutional partnerships while ensuring HR best practices and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

1. Organization Design & HR Strategy

  • Develop and maintain a lean, efficient, and scalable organizational structure aligned with organizational goals. 
  • Implement HR best practices by benchmarking with leading organizations across industries.
  • Drive workforce planning and organizational effectiveness initiatives across India.

2. Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including manpower planning, sourcing, selection, onboarding, and induction. 
  • Manage recruitment agencies, consultants, and external hiring partners. 
  • Ensure timely hiring of quality talent across functions and locations. 
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline to meet current and future staffing requirements.

3. Job Architecture & HR Reporting 

  • Develop and maintain job descriptions, role profiles, grading structures, and organizational charts.
  • Establish HR reporting systems and dashboards to support leadership decision-making.
  • Analyze workforce data and provide regular management reports.

4. HR Policies & Compliance 

  • Formulate, review, and update HR policies and employee handbooks. 
  • Manage policies related to travel, leave, attendance, reimbursement, employee benefits, and workplace conduct. 
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and organizational policies.

5. Performance Management & Employee Development 

  • Design and implement goal-setting and performance management frameworks. 
  • Coordinate annual appraisal cycles, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
  • Support managers in performance coaching, succession planning, and talent development.

6. Workforce Administration & Employee Welfare 

  • Monitor employee attendance, leave management, and workforce records across India.
  • Implement employee welfare, engagement, and well-being initiatives. 
  • Address employee concerns and foster a positive work culture.

7. Manpower Budgeting & Cost Optimization

  • Prepare annual manpower budgets in consultation with departmental heads. 
  • Allocate manpower costs across projects and business units. 
  • Identify opportunities for workforce optimization and cost efficiencies.

8. Employee Engagement & Employer Branding 

  • Lead employee engagement initiatives to strengthen organizational culture. 
  • Coordinate participation in Great Place to Work assessments and other HR excellence forums.
  • Enhance employer branding through the organization’s website, career portal, and social media platforms.
  • Promote the organization as an employer of choice.

9. Academic & Institutional Partnerships

  • Establish partnerships with premier management, technology, social work, and other academic institutions.
  • Develop campus recruitment and internship programs. 
  • Create sustainable talent pipelines through academia-industry collaborations.

10. Internship & Early Career Programs 

  • Design, implement, and manage internship and trainee programs. 
  • Coordinate intern recruitment, orientation, performance reviews, and project assignments.
  • Facilitate the transition of high-performing interns into full-time roles where appropriate.

11. HR Operations & Team Management 

  • Conduct regular reviews of open positions, recruitment status, and workforce requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team to ensure operational excellence. 
  • Present HR updates, workforce analytics, and strategic recommendations to leadership.

Qualifications 

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Personnel Management, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certifications will be an added advantage.
