The event started with a technical session on “journey towards long term measurable social impact” where eminent dignitaries from Corporates- #JSW Foundation #AshwiniSaxena, #DrSubhrangshuSanyal, CEO, IIM Calcutta Innovation Park, #AmitKumarThakur, Head CSR & Senior Fellow, TERI, #NixonJoseph, CEO, CLT India, #AnuragPratap, Senior Director & Head- CSR, Capgemini Technology Services India Limited, #DrAnuragPriyadarshi- Director- Sustainability, TATA Consumer Products Limited and #SaikatBasu, CEO, Consultivo, attended and contributed to the technical session. Their valuable insights enriched both implementing Organizations and Corporate Donors. Collaboration among key stakeholders- Corporates, Government, NGOs, CBOs and others, thrust on HDI and SDGs, technology-based solutions for improving access and generating high impact, social innovation, design projects that are successful in tackling climate change and building climate-resilient communities, impact assessment to measure change and effective partnership to drive real impact are the key takeaways from the session.
Our Project “eSarvashiksha” received Special Jury Award under the Category ” Promoting Education”. The covid pandemic crisis forced millions of students out of physical classroom and disrupted the learning process. To combat the covid-induced lockdown and closure of schools, digital education evolved as a potential game changer in the education system. The We Foundation, with generous support from #IndiaCarbonLimited, #Cognizant, #Government and #WHO, designed the Project eSarvashiksha, which aims at strengthening the education system by introducing blended learning system, and promoting the usage of digital resources as a key learning tool for quality education. We are witnessing learning loss among primary, upper-primary and secondary level students due to school closures during the covid pandemic.
