Smart Gurukul is an innovative educational initiative by The WE Foundation, designed to transform the learning experience for students in Assam, especially those from underserved communities. Our goal is to bridge the digital divide by providing digital infrastructure, teacher training, and career guidance to empower students with essential skills for the future.
Digital Learning for Students
In partnership with Aspigrade, our knowledge partner, Smart Gurukul also focuses on career coaching, helping students develop not only academic knowledge but also the skills and insights needed to pursue their career goals with confidence and purpose.
Empowering Educators
A key element of Smart Gurukul’s success is integrating technology into the learning environment. We’ve provided digital resources to 20 government schools in Assam, benefiting over 5,878 students. Additionally, more than 300 teachers are receiving training in digital literacy to create engaging e-learning materials that enhance the learning experience for students.
Career Guidance for Students
More than 2,000 students from grades 8 to 12 are taking part in career coaching sessions, helping them explore their future career paths with the support of Aspigrade.
