Nabanita has been associated with TWF since its inception. She is a gold medalist in PGDSW, MA in Political Science from Calcutta University, PGD in Health Management from National Institute of Health and Family Welfare (NIHFW), New Delhi and a certificate holder in Health Systems Strengthening from John Hopkins University. During her leisure time, she completed both intermediate and advanced courses in Copy Editing from Mediabistro, USA. Nabanita has more than 12 year’s experience in the development sector. She has worked in Government (Panchayats and Rural Development Department, Govt of West Bengal), Corporate, Non-government Organizations and UN agency (NPO in World Health Organization South-East Asia Region). She has successfully designed, implemented and evaluated various development projects.

Mrs. Arpita Gupta Kundu

HR Director

Mrs. Arpita Gupta Kundu is forward-looking HR personnel with 15 years of experience. MBA in HR, with a strong background of working with a number of multinational corporations building successful HR departments from the ground up. Skilled at guiding diversity, recruiting initiatives and providing employee resources to support the growth of enterprise organizations. She uses her interpersonal communication skills and conflict resolution abilities to increase employee satisfaction at CORE.

Mr Krishnendu Banerjee

A management graduate from Preston University, USA and an executive graduate from IIM, Ahmedabad, Krishnendu brings with him more than 15 year’s experience in strategic marketing and communication, brand management, business development, new product development and research. He has worked in leading multinational and national companies such as GILLETTE, GOODYEAR, LG, CASIO and many others.

He is also equipped in cash management & banking operations. With wide experience in the development sector, he has the capability to handle support functions such as HR, Operation, Programme & Organizational Management. He smartly carries out statutory, internal & system audit in private, Govt. and non-Govt. organizations. He is known for his strong communication skills and ability to adapt and learn new technologies for smooth functioning of any projects/programmes.

Outside of his professional commitments, Santosh is an avid supporter of environmental conservation efforts. He is also passionate about volunteering for social cause and is involved in several social initiatives & programs.

These experiences have equipped him with a deep understanding of grassroots economic empowerment and sustainable livelihood models.

Rohit contributes actively to a diverse portfolio of programs across education, environment, livelihoods, health, and sustainability. He supports initiatives that enhance foundational learning, digital literacy, and inclusive, child-friendly education. In the environmental space, he works on waste management, climate adaptation, and community-led stewardship. His efforts in livelihood programs focus on skilling and micro-entrepreneurship for women and youth from marginalized backgrounds. Profile- Ms. Anjum Chowdhary is the Health and Nutrition Officer at The WE Foundation, with a strong academic background in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and a Master’s in Health Management. She brings a unique combination of clinical expertise and strategic program management to the organization’s health initiatives.
Anjum has gained hands-on experience in hospital-based nutrition, patient care, and health systems through various clinical internships. Her passion for community health has driven her work in the development sector, particularly in areas of preventive healthcare, maternal and child nutrition, and awareness building.
At The WE Foundation, she plays a key role in designing and implementing health programs focused on nutritional counseling, cancer screening, and community-based health training, ensuring all interventions are evidence-based and community-focused.

Mr. Sanjib Saha

Program Manager – Health & Nutrition

Sanjib Saha is a seasoned public health professional with over 27 years of experience in public health and nutrition, primarily focused on Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) and sexual health, including HIV/AIDS. With academic credentials in Social-Cultural Anthropology and Public Health Management, he has held key roles in several national and international NGOs and UN agencies including UNICEF, CARE, Save the Children, and Child In Need Institute (CINI).

For the past two decades, Sanjib has worked closely with the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, and UNICEF, providing technical and managerial support for the implementation of NHM programmes such as RMNCH+A. His expertise extends across various states including Bihar and Uttarakhand, particularly in strengthening maternal, newborn, child, adolescent health, and nutrition services.

He has led and coordinated large-scale public health projects supported by organizations like UNICEF, UNFPA and DFID. Sanjib brings deep experience in programme planning, capacity building, monitoring, and policy advocacy, with a strong grounding in community-based approaches and health systems strengthening.
